Yes. Body Tracker is completely free. Guests get browser-based storage with no account required. Sign in to sync your data across devices.

How is body fat percentage calculated?

If you enter body fat % directly from a smart scale, that value is used. Otherwise, the US Navy method estimates it from waist, neck, and hip measurements.

What is BMR?

BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) is the number of calories your body burns at rest. It's calculated using the Mifflin-St Jeor formula from your weight, height, age, and sex.

What is TDEE?

TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure) is your BMR multiplied by an activity factor. It estimates the total calories you burn per day including exercise and movement.

Is my data private?

Guest data is stored only in your browser and never sent to our servers. Signed-in data is stored securely in your personal account and is never shared.

What units are supported?

Both metric (kg, cm) and imperial (lbs, inches) are supported. You can switch units at any time — data is always stored in metric internally.

What is the Navy method for body fat?

The US Navy method estimates body fat % from circumference measurements (waist, neck, and hips for women) and height. It requires no special equipment.

How do I track progress over time?

Log entries on different dates and trend charts will appear automatically once you have two or more data points for any metric.
